in an alternate universe where sasuke uchiha returns to konoha after
killing itachi, he and naruto find each other developing their relationship
in ways they hadn’t imagined. they ran into each other in the darkened
streets of konoha on the night of his return, where they agreed it would
be best to for to naruto’s house together. still a wanted criminal, sasuke
has to lay low just for the night until he could talk to tsunade, and naruto
is more than willing to share his home. they don’t talk much, both clearly
at a loss for words, every syllable drenched in awkwardness as if they had
almost forgotten how to interact normally with each other after all those years
of fighting & chasing.it isn’t until much later in the night that naruto realizes how broken the uchiha is,
how deeply he had been scarred, & just how much that stoic facade managed to
hide. & although he manages to comfort the raven, the next day things take a turn,
for the worse. even in the four years that they had spent apart, the distance never
seemed so obvious & insurmountable. & yet, they know that there is something
between them, something that leaves them broken when apart, something that
makes them feel whole for the first time with a single touch. all they need to do is
open their eyes & their hearts to the fact that they were destined to be together,
for they were SOULMATES.

I RP both narutoverse and AU versions of my muse. Naruto is bisexual/polysexual but that does NOT mean I ship him with everyone.
