He didn’t know why she visited him at
the hospital, as she had been doing every
once in a while, but her presence was a
WELCOME one. With Sasuke still under
highly supervised care, & Sakura busy
attending to the multitude of injured ninjas,
he was getting a little lonely. Tsunade had
BANNED him from leaving his room &
when he had disobeyed... well, lets just say
he wasn’t going to get any ramen for the
rest of his stay there.
Her comment almost caught him off guard as it
literally CAME out of nowhere, but nonetheless,
it made him feel oddly happy. She cared. & a
part of him had grown to care for her too. The
SLIGHT tremble of her voice was not missed.
He gave her a reassuring grin, accompanied
by a slight squeeze of her hand.
He had no idea how someone who had
been working under someone so vile,
Orochimaru to be precise, could be so
WARM. By no means did she seem
soft. Nope, she was the perfect blend
of thick-skinned & sharp-tongued but
there was an INEXPLICABLE air of
something akin to tenderness within
her. & he admired that. Not to mention
he found her fun to be around, too !
