Selective roleplay blogs and follow backs.
Selective roleplay blogs are blogs that don’t just follow everyone back. As an owner of three selective blogs, I can tell you what I look for and I can tell you exactly why I’m selective. First of all,
Selective blogs don’t just follow everyone back.
There is a reason for this, and there are many reasons why they don’t….
Reason One: the muses won’t work right.
Sometimes roleplayer’s muses will clash and not work. Or the mun does not know of your fandom. As a roleplayer in a small fandom, I know that this is true.
Reason Two: the mun might not write the same way.
I personally, as a mun, will not write script. That is just me, I don’t really just write that way. I don’t think people who do are less quality than me, I just won’t be able to roleplay with you.
Reason Three: there would be no way for our characters to interact.
Some selective blogs like to keep their dash clean. If they can’t interact with your muse they will not follow back. They very much appreciate you being their follower however and love that you like their muse!
However, the thing that selective blogs are not:
- snooty
- predjudiced
- unreasonable
- horrible
- arrogant
- ‘quality only’
- bad blogs
SELECTIVE BLOGS ARE NOT BAD BLOGS
THEY RUN THEIR BLOGS A CERTAIN WAY
THAT IS WHAT THEY FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH

inspite reblogged this from goodboybadreputation Please read the following rules and thank you for taking your time to do it. I really appreciate it! I might add new rules if absolutely necessary in the future (also check out my PSAs if you can). And by the way, the Naruto I RP is usually 17 years old. But its flexible depending on the thread. I RP both narutoverse and AU versions of my muse. Naruto is bisexual/polysexual but that does NOT mean I ship him with everyone.
